I'm selling my OVH account because i'm moving to colocation. I want to sell all of these in a block. Every server expires on 10/3/2012, so in a little less than a month since that february is shorter than usual. If you are not interested on the other servers, just focus on the HG one, that has big installation costs.
2 x X5650 (2x6 cores @ 2.5GHz), custom upgrade priced at 750.
144GB of RAM, custom upgrade priced at 1980.
10*1TB SAS drives, custom upgrade priced at 1190 (119*10)
2*300GB Intel 320, custom upgrade priced at 998 (499*2)
12*120GB Intel 320, custom upgrade priced at 2388 (199*12)
Other than this, server comes with other standard stuff, like a MegaRAID card with 512MB of ram cache and BBU.
This server will cost you 399/month. I actually have 2 add-on on this server: the professional option, that is another 49/month and provide you a private lan and a redundant PSU, and a DAS (direct attacked storage) that allows you to keep up to 24 disks, this costs 149/month. If you for example get rid of the 10*1TB SAS disks (you also have to get rid of 2 SSDs) and keep the SSDs only, you can avoid this expense and have a cost effective and really really fast SSD-based system.
I also have, fully paid for a month like the HG monster server over, 5 servers in the account. As i already said, i will not sell them separately, it would just be a lost of time.
The value for all this stuff already paid in advance for a month is around 1500. Secondly, there are the costs i had to sustain to upgrade the HG to the beast it is. Please pm me your offer, or write it there, i'm looking to sell all of this as soon as possible - before it lose value.
